DEFROST PIPE 40

DEFROST PIPE 40 is a self limiting heating cable that is ideal for frost protection and other low temperature appliances like temperature maintenance of pipe work, vessels and tanks.

It can be cut-to-length on site, and exact piping lengths can be mathced without any complicated design considerations.

Its self-limiting characteristics improve safety and reliability. DEFROST PIPE wil not overheat or burnout, even when overlapped upon itself. Its power output is self-limiting in response to the surrounding temperature.

Lowest acceptable temperature of environment during operation:   -60 degrees Celsius. If the cable is intended for use in colder environments please contact us.

The installation of DEFROST PIPE is quick and simple and requires no special skills or tools. Termination splicing and power connection components are all provided in convenient kits. Installation in Ex/hazardous areas require kits / accessories that are Ex approved.
