N-LINE FX90 and FX90-DIM are 90°C rated single insulated twin cable constructions suitable for downlight installations. The cables are designed to withstand the temperatures that is present in downlights. N-LINE FX90 products are predrawn in 16 mm corrugated, flexible conduits. FX90 shall always be installed in conduits when used in 230 V downlight installations.
The two insulated conductors is easily separated by making a small incision on the cable end and pulling them from eachother.
Core identification: One of the conductors has two longitudinal ribs, in addition to colour coding blue/white. The FX90-DIM type has one blue/white conductor pair and one red/white conductor pair, meant for power and signal/control subsequently.
The conduit fulfills the requirements for embedding in concrete.
If it's prefered to attach the cable within a chord anchorage, the anchorage must be suitable for single insulated conductors, if not an extra protection must be applied.
