Transport

In Norway, the government recently published the National Transport Plan for 2022–2033, with the target to have an efficient, environmentally friendly and safe transport system in 2050.

It was also emphasized that the development of such a transport system should provide freedom and opportunities for all, increase the quality of life, contribute to value creation, protect and save lives and contribute to better health, environment and climate.

Transports is a part of the infrastructure sector and include transport of goods, persons and information at a local and regional level as well as international. The continuous development and changes in population and urbanization, digitalization and innovation, sustainability and economic developments also affect the transport segment.
