Nexans has supplied submarine cables to the Norwegian utility market for almost a 100 years. The cables are installed in demanding waters along the Norwegian coast and have been exposed to rough weather and wear both from waves and currents. Many of these connections have been operating for decades without faults.

Our current submarine cable constructions are developed for rough climate and conditions and are designed to withstand the strains they are exposed to, both during installation and operation.
