Helical dead end set FTTH G1-12

A dead end set consists of a spiral suspension and thimble, and is used at cable route end and access points. The thimble protects the cable loop at the end of the spiral suspension from wear and tear. The dead end is also used in situations where the cable angle, relative to the pole, is greater than 16˚.

Both the spiral suspension and thimble are made of galvanized steel and are constructed for span lengths of up to 70 m.
 
The thimble has a 25 mm end loop diameter, weighs 0.05 kg and has a groove diameter of 14 mm. The dimensions of the spiral suspension rods can be found in the Characteristics section below.
 
IMPORTANT: 1-12 fibre ADSS FTTH 6,5 mm should be pretightened before relaxing in accordance with the attached file "INSTALLATION OF NEXANS CABLE TYPE GRGLDV (Norwegian only)” below.
