Intermediate suspension set FTTH G144 - G216

 Intermediate suspension sets consist of 3 parts: suspension rods, supporting rods and a closed thimble.  Intermediate suspension sets are used in situations where the cable is not to be strained and where the cable angle does not exceed 16˚.
 
Both the intermediate suspension and thimble are made of galvanized steel and are constructed for span lengths of up to 70 m. The loop in the spiral is protected from wear and tear by the closed thimble. The thimble has a 55 mm diameter, weighs 0.04 kg and has a groove diameter of 19 mm. IMPORTANT: 1-12 fibre ADSS FTTH 6,5 mm should be pretightened before relaxing in accordance with the attached file "INSTALLATION OF NEXANS CABLE TYPE GRGLDV (Norwegian only)” below.
