WATERLINK- BENDING-LIMITER (1m)

BENDING-LIMITER is used to prevent kinks in the cable in the transition between the seabed and the vertical section.
Cable kinks tend to occur in cases where the cable is exposed to residual torsion and when the cable do not have enough streak.
Nexans has developed a BENDING-LIMITER, which is attached to fleet structure, where the cable comes into the fleet. This unit can also be attached parallel (horizontal) along a platform.
