The cable consists of plain, annealed copper conductors with foamed polyethylene (PE) insulation. The cable core is filled with petroleum jelly and wrapped with polyester tape. The inner sheath material is PE.
The cable is screened with one layer of aluminium wires and one layer of semi-conductive tape. The cable core is then armoured with two layers of steel tape. A black, semi-conductive outer sheath is then applied.
