The cable consists of plain, annealed copper conductors with foamed polyethylene (PE) insulation. The cable core is filled with petroleum jelly and wrapped with polyester tape.
The cable is screened with an Al/PE tape. Cables with up to (and including) 50 pairs have a tinned earth wire (7*0.2 mm) under the Al-tape. All cables have an outer sheath of black PE.
