Deep sea mining is rapidly becoming a new industry and Nexans is already an established cable supplier.

Nexans has developed, manufactured and supplied special cables for these challenging applications since 2005. Very deep waters (5000m +) and demanding working conditions requires a need for increased tensile strength, improved armour and increased power transmission. 

Nexans is well positioned through our know-how and capabilities based on long experience in the ROV cable market as well as our focus on R&D and development of new materials and manufacturing methods.
