LV and Fiber Optic Cables

LV electrical cables and fiber optic cables for subsea applications. 

We design and manufacture low voltage copper cables and fibre optic cables for signal and electrical requirements for integration into umbilicals together with hydraulic tubes or high voltage cables.  

Our fibre optic cable is based on a loose tube design in which the fibres are protected by a laser welded steel tube which is filled with a water blocking and hydrogen absorbing compound.  

The hermitically sealed stainless steel tube provides effective protection against excess signal loss in the fibres and prevents water and gas intrusion.  

Our design concept, production processes and factory test philosophy have been standardized, to ensure reliable and predictable performance and lifetime expectancy. Our cables have an extensive track record and are used in subsea umbilicals worldwide.
