ROV Cables

Nexans Norway was a pioneer in the ROV industry in 1984. Since then we have continuously worked with our customers and have become one of the main suppliers of umbilicals and tethers to the majority of operators and builders of Work Class ROVs worldwide.  

In a developing marked with new and increasing requirements, Nexans intensified the efforts to improve quality with the goal to help our clients to reduce cost and to meet tougher operational conditions. Nexans has tested and analyzed a wide range of technical cable solutions in order to improve even further their strength and durability.  

ROV cables are mainly used at depths down to 5000m for trenching, drilling, maintenance and repair. 

Nexans ROV cables are all designed and manufactured according to customer specifications. We work in accordance with Nexans Best Practice and all our designs are based on qualified standard “building blocks”.
