WATERLINK

WATERLINK FERE (0,6/1 kV and 1,8/3 kV) and WATERLINK FEVE (1,8/3 kV) are grease-filled, armored power cables with a fiber optic element. These cables are designed to transport power from a land-based supply to offshore aquaculture systems, fish farms or the like. The cables are reinforced with galvanized steel wires, which meets the requirements of NEK 400 Fish farms (Norwegian installation standard). In areas with higher wave classes we recommended the FEVE, which is a double armored cable variant of FERE.

Many installations do have significant power consumption as well as a long distance between the installation and the accessible power supply on shore. For such long lengths our higher voltage solution at 24 kV should be considered. Appropriate cable solutions are TXRA, TXRE or TERE.
