Repeatered Optical Cables

Nexans ROC-2 family cables are designed with the industry standard vault cable core, which provides very good hydrostatic pressure resistance, high tensile strength, interlayer adhesion between the copper tube and steel wire interstices, longitudinal water-blocking, and a conductor for a 15kV repeater power supply.

Nexans supplies repeatered cables in various armoring packages and with high fiber-count capabilities, suitable to both regional and transoceanic distances, installable at water depths down to 8000m. Nexans possess in-house repeater integration capabilities and a whole range of accessories for cable network and repairs may be provided, including branching units, ROPA boxes, universal joints, transportation baskets and more.
